Wireless solution for disconnecting a photovoltaic power plant

Every electricity distributor requires a safe way to disconnect of photovoltaics from the distribution network. This is done by the so-called "critical signal" HDO referred to as N0%. It is often difficult to run a cable for N0%, so a wireless solution is the best choice.

HOW DOES THE WIRELESS SOLUTION WORK?

The wireless solution for the shutdown of photovoltaic power plants is simple and reliable . After applying voltage or closing a contact on one of the two inputs, the transmitter sends information to the receiver, which disconnects the power plant. This technology ensures fast and reliable disconnection when needed.

FOR WHAT REACH CAN THE SOLUTION BE USED?

The range for the transmitted signal is up to 150 m in free space.

In the case of placing the transmitter (receiver) in the switchboard, it is possible to use an omnidirectional external antenna and thus eliminate the shortening of the range.

For longer distances, an external directional antenna can be used, which in case of direct visibility will help to overcome distances of up to 3 km.
